How Machineintelligence processes personal data under applicable German and EU rules.

2. Data we collect
We may process: identity and contact details (name, email, phone); enquiry content (interview dates, role context you choose to share); scheduling information; payment references exchanged by email; and technical data such as IP address and basic server logs when you visit the site.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and delivering coaching — performance of a contract or steps prior to contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Optional analytics cookies — consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), managed via our cookie banner. See cookies.
- Meeting legal accounting or tax duties — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Retention
Enquiry messages without an engagement are typically retained up to 12 months. Client coaching records are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 3 years afterward unless a longer statutory period applies to invoices. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle appropriate to security monitoring.
5. Recipients and international transfers
We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. If a provider stores data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a German supervisory authority.
7. Sensitive content
Please avoid sending special-category data (health, political opinions, etc.) through the contact form unless it is strictly necessary and you choose to provide it. Coaching focuses on interview performance, not medical or psychological treatment.
